MOUNT ELGON
Mount Elgon has the largest volcanic base in the world. Located on the Uganda-Kenya border, you can access its peaks from either side. It is the oldest and largest solitary volcanic mountain in East Africa. At 80km in diameter, it rises more than 3,000m above the plains that surround it. Sipi is the longest hiking trail, and it takes 5 days to reach the highest peak Waigagi.
