MGAHINGA GORILLA NATIONAL PARK
Mgahinga forms a portion of the Virunga Volcano conservation area and is the smallest National Park in Uganda. It hosts Mount Sabinyo and Mount Muhavuru which are situated in the Virunga Ranges and which cut across Uganda, Rwanda and Congo - an epic hiking destination!
It is also home to Lake Mutanda, the Mountain Gorillas, and Golden Monkeys. You can trek them in a very similar way to how the Gorillas are witnessed. However they live in lower areas so the trekking is not quite so arduous!
